New and Used Sound Equipment
Equipment Emporium specializes in sales of new and used sound
equipment for film and video and are Authorized Dealers for most major brands.
Our extensive inventory features new, used, mfr demo & B-stock. We also offer
consignment gear from our clients.
Our sales staff are experienced mixers, and are happy to assist you with your
purchase.
We base our judgements on what works in the field, not what the manufacturers want us
to believe!
Pricing is discounted & competitive. Numbers may vary from the
posted "street prices" somewhat based on the size of order, and sporadic
manufacturer-to-dealer specials -- so don't assume that these catalog prices are
carved in cement.
But at least we have the guts to post fairly realistic numbers so you can budget.
Special Pricing and MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) policies
Sometimes manufacturers impose upon dealers what is known as
Minimum Advertised Pricing, which restricts the amount of discount a dealer may
publish in their ads and catalogs.
MAP does not restrict a dealer from actually selling a
product at an extremely attractive price; but items cannot be advertised as
worth below a certain value.
Many dealers get around this by saying, "Call for
Pricing", but we believe that clients prefer to know approximately what
something sells for than no information at all.
As much as possible, we try to publish accurate
"street" pricing of products, rather than useless "list"
prices. Once in awhile, though, this MAP thing comes up. So read between the
lines when we talk about "special seasonal pricing"!

Terms and Conditions
New merchandise may be returned for refund up to 14 days
from date of purchase. Returned goods should be packed
properly, insured, and must include orig mfr box, packing,
paperwork, and be in as-new condition or else a re-stocking fee may apply.
Outer shipping boxes must be retained
in order to file a claim for shipping damages with UPS or Fed X.
Sales of Special Order items,
editing systems, tape, and expendable batteries are final and not
returnable for refund.
Used consignment equipment is sold as is/where is, with no
warranty other than that the equipment performs as described, unless we have
specified otherwise in writing.
We accept payment in the form of cash, check, money order, Visa,
MasterCard, American Express/Optima, COD, and wire transfer.
