Equipment Emporium Inc. now sells Rycote as well as Light Wave brand windscreens, furries, and shockmounts

Light Wave Audio Systems recently announced that it was closing its United States factory and moving its operation to England, joining its parent company, Rycote. Manufacture of Light Wave Systems zeppelins and shockmounts will eventually be phased out, but manufacture of the popular Equalizer slide-on windscreens will continue.

Rycote manufactures an excellent suspension shockmount and zeppelin windshield system that is modular in design, so that a few basic sizes can be user configured to fit a multitude of professional mics.

For ease of purchase, Rycote offers complete systems that include a modular suspension (pistol grip shockmount), zeppelin windshield, and furry windjammer outer cover.

The Full Windshield Kit size 4 will accommodate the Audio Technica AT4073a & AT897 mics, as well as the Sennheiser MKH416 & MKH60. Price is $629.

The Full Windshield Kit size 5 will accommodate the Sennheiser K6/ME66. Price is $689.

The Full Windshield Kit size 6 will accommodate the Audio Technica AT4071a.   List Price is $689.

The Full Windshield Kit size 7 will accommodate the Audio Technica AT815b.  List Price is $719.
