K-TEK has just introduced a new series of inexpensive, metal boompoles intended for low budget filmmakers and videographers. The new series of poles are called the Avalon-M series, and are designed to meet the economic needs of the occasional filmmaker. Unlike many of the competing, inexpensive poles on the market, the new Avalons are made entirely in the USA! Sorry, Italy and China, but these dollars stay here! The KE69 is a 3-section news pole, uncabled, that extends just shy of 6 feet (69 inches, to be precise). Price is only $120. The KE89CC is a 4-section pole, internally cabled, that extends to 7 1/2 feet (89 inches). Price is only $175. The KE-110CC is a 5-section pole, internally cabled, that extends to 9 feet (110 inches). Price is only $250. The KE-110CCR features a side-mounted XLR fitting, rather than being on the bottom, and is only $275. This is our most popular selling pole. |
