EquipmentEmporium.com has a new look!

Welcome to the new Equipment Emporium website. We are an educational resource for those interested in video and film production.

Our specialty is Production Sound Recording (location sound), although we are also versed in other aspects of production, from pre to post. Here you will find useful information, articles, tips, tricks, reviews, tutorials, instruction manuals, an interactive forum, student & faculty resources, and much more. We'll even help you network.

The Equipment Emporium no longer sells equipment. We have evolved "beyond the sales catalog." These days, we are educators and purveyors of knowledge.

As you can see, we are changing the way we look and operate, and the entire website is undergoing a facelift. This is the new look and layout, we hope you enjoy it. The site is still under construction, but there is already plenty of content to sift through; and more is being added everyday.

Since we no longer generate revenue from sales and rentals, the donations that come in from subscriptions are what covers the expense of maintaining this resource. So please support this educational endeavor by joining and participating in our forum.

Please feel free to contribute articles, links, announcements and anything else that you feel other members would find useful and relevant. This is a community effort!

In order to access all of the great resources on this site, you will need to have a user name and password. Membership is easy and inexpensive. Our PayPal engine accepts PayPal accounts as well as credit cards for your convenience.

We offer discounted membership to students; and some colleges actually specify this site as a "required text" for production majors. (Teachers and professors using this site should contact us about group discounts and comps.)

We also offer special Discount Coupons to members of Affiliated Trade Organizations, such as UFVA, LEVA, WEVA, CAS, IATSE, BKSTS, BEA, former EQE clients, and readers of Affliliated trade magazines. If you think that you might qualify, feel free to email us.
